Managing a Competition and Entering scores

Competition scores can be entered on the system side (club) or if you have the Score Input Module, the members can enter scores directly.

For system users (club personnel), go to Competitions on the main menu, then click the Manage button of the relevant competition:

On the Manage page, a grid of matches is displayed, click a match for options:

The options displayed depend on the status of the match. The example below is a match which has been booked to the calendar but does not yet have a result:

There are several options available:

• Move the match (see Moving a competition match)
• Enter that a team has forfeited
• Enter the score for the match

Entering that a team has forfeited allows the match to have no score, and the team that didn't forfeit to move ahead. It also removes the match from the calendar, freeing up valuable rink space.

Entering the score for the match will simply allow the team with the highest score to move ahead to the next round (to the right side).

You can edit the results of matches, as long as the next match in the competition does not yet have a result entered.
