When the club is shut for an entire session or day, it is not possible to add this as a blacklisted date once a season has begun.
To prevent unwanted bookings on these sessions or days, create bookings that inform the users and members of a club closure.
Go to the diary and find the relevant date, then click the Edit button on the first rink:
On the Edit page, choosing a category sets the colour of the booking. It's a good idea to use the same colour for all club closures to create familiarity. If you don't already have a suitable colour, see Managing categories article for help on editing categories.
Select a category from the dropdown menu:
Then edit the category name just below the category selection to CLUB CLOSED or relevant text:
Then click the green Save button to the right to return to the diary:
On the diary page, the new booking is displayed:
Place the mouse cursor over the new booking and select Copy:
On the Copy window, in this example, we'll select the same session, and select the other rinks to fill the session:
Which books up the entire session
----
To fill an entire day, place the mouse cursor over the first booking and select Copy again:
On the copy window, the date will already be selected, to copy the the club closures to another date, select the date needed and click Copy. This will then copy all the sessions selected and duplicate the entry in the diary.
Then select all other sessions in the day, and use the Check All button on the right to save time:
After clicking Save, the diary displays a fully booked day:
To quickly remove these bookings, see Removing multiple bookings at once.
