Adding teams to a league

When creating a league following the steps in Creating a new league, you set the Number of teams needed for the league:

This creates the correct number of placeholder teams, allowing you to proceed with generating fixtures.

Team names, Team Secretaries and Team Members can be added at any time by editing the team.

The first time you edit a team, it will have an alphabet letter name: A, B, C etc.

You can give the team a new name, otherwise when you first select a team captain, their name is used as the team name.

Changing the team captain at any time does not change the team’s name automatically. This is intentional. Team name changes and player changes should be managed manually as different clubs have different policies.

Bowlr's league generator only supports having 1 stand-down/bye team per round. This means the having a number of rinks that is less than half the number of teams can lead to inefficient leagues being generated.
