The groups page can be accessed via the Members menu option, then Groups.
The name of the current group is shown on the top left in the page heading.
Selecting the group to view
Under the heading is a dropdown menu for selecting the group to view. After making a selection, the page refreshes to show the selected group.
Group actions
The Edit group button leads to the group edit page which is covered in Editing a member group.
----
Clicking the Delete group button leads to a warning, for safety. Proceeding deletes the group. A group can always be recreated, so this is not a critical action.
----
Export email
This feature provides an immediate list of email addresses held for the members in the group. Not all members may have an email address, so the number of email addresses may not match the number of members in the group.
When the pop-up appears, the cursor will already be placed in the text area for convenience. On the keyboard, pressing Ctrl + A, then Ctrl+C will copy all of the email addresses. On an email application, paste these email addresses into the BCC field to send a mass email.
WARNING: It may be a breach of member privacy to share all email addresses with all other members. On your email application, always use the BCC field instead of the TO or the CC field, to avoid this problem. Using the BCC field allows all members to receive the email, without knowing who else received the email. It is not necessary to enter an email address in the TO or CC fields when using the BCC field.
