Clubs can choose to assign members as captains of a match in the Availability Module. See Assigning Team Captains.

Note
Players do not get notified about being invited to the match unless the Send email to invited players button is used.
Invited players can see and respond to the match in the Member Portal even if the invite emails are not sent.
Players who don’t have an email address will have a “no email” message displayed on the Players table.
